1
App doesn't appear in the menu bar.
Make sure the app is running. Go to Finder → Applications and double-click WiFi & IP Info. The icon appears in the top-right of your screen.
2
External IP shows "Unavailable".
The app needs an internet connection to fetch your public IP. Check your network and try again in a few seconds.
3

macOS may require Location Services to read the SSID. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services and allow access for the app.
4

Try setting a manual URL in Settings → Router Admin URL. Common addresses: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.

Why does the app ask for network access?
The app needs outbound network access to fetch your external (public) IP address. No other data is transmitted.

How do I set it to launch automatically on startup?
Open the app, click the menu bar icon → Settings, and enable Launch at Login.
